The safety of our customers is our #1 concern. That’s why our team has been trained to teach you the basics of life safety. Once your system is installed our team will provide you with a Fire Safety booklet, along with a Fire Escape Plan for you to share with your family. We pride ourselves on making the community a safer place to live and work by educating people about the basics of safety. Here are a few tips to help you keep your family safe.

Fire Safety Tips
  • Don’t overload your electrical circuits
  • Use a fire detection and/or smoke warning system in your home
  • Don’t smoke in bed
  • Keep combustibles far from heat sources
Personal Safety Tips
  • Trim shrubs back to avoid giving burglars cover
  • Keep garage and shed closed and locked at all times
  • Do not leave doors unlocked while working in the yard
  • Install an electronic security system to monitor for burglar, fire and emergencies
Home Invasion Safety Tips
  • Arm your system when your home. This is a common mistake home owners make and robbers know it.
  • Never rely on chain-latch as a barrier to partially open the door; an invader will kick in the door.
  • Add panic buttons to your system and place them around your home so you can alert the proper authorities from any location in your home.
  • Hold a family meeting to discuss security plans. You can never be too prepared.
Internet Safety Tips
  • Monitor your child’s use on the internet
  • Make sure the browser you currently use is a secure browser. Install security updates as they are made available
  • Do not give our passwords, social security numbers or personal bank account information.
  • If you do not recognize the sender of the email, do not open it. Simply delete the message to prevent any viruses from harming your computer.
Poison Control Tips
  • Store all medicines and house products in the original containers.
  • Use child-resistant packages for medicines and potentially dangerous household products.
  • Lock medicines and products out of sight and reach of children
  • Follow product label warnings about not mixing different products, ventilation the area, or wearing gloves.
